Minneapolis, MN (IBNN NEWS/July 6, 2010)…Today IBNN NEWS went on a mission in north Minneapolis to see how many people knew the name of the person running the Minneapolis Urban League.
It’s 11:00 a.m. on West Broadway Avenue.
Some people have stayed up all night on drug using tangents. Some are ready to hit the liquor store.
This video shows the disconnect in the north Minneapolis community from those who run non-profit organizations that “say” they have the interests of the community at heart. What we find is people who are unemployed, on drugs, homeless that have not been reached out to, but are used in the closed boardrooms as number to gain assess to funding.
North Minneapolis social service agencies (not all), haven’t been too “social” to the average man or woman on the streets.
