“I had my hands behind my back; I was laying down,” Page said. An officer put a knee into Page’s back and during the scuffle forced Page’s head into a snow bank, Page said. He said he couldn’t breathe and fought to turn his face as police yelled, “stop resisting.” “They got to beating me on the head and all that,” he said. ~Star Tribune report
Don’t expect the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights to do much. They’ve been given their marching orders from the DFL political plantation.

“We watch, we call” is being used inappropriately by some self-righteous White residents of north Minneapolis who find it funny to pay a Black woman $20 to watch her pull down her pants and urinate on a garage. (See photo (l) from Jordan Area Community Council’s vice chair Eric Johnson.)
This morning, the Star Tribune Newspaper reported a police raid on a north Minneapolis apartment on Tuesday that left a man in the hospital and the apartment in shambles — but led to no serious criminal charges — has fallen under internal police review. According to the Star Tribune, “Public records show that none of the seven people mentioned in the police report has a narcotics violation, and most have no criminal records.”
No drugs, no guns, nothing illegal was found, but yet a 20-year-old Black man was beating beyond recognition by Minneapolis Police. (Remember, if you beat us, tase us or kill us, the City of Minneapolis will pay.)

"CM Don Samuels: Authorization to do not-so-nice things to people of color in North Minneapolis. (Photo by Megan Goodmunson for Samuels)
This comes on the heels of Ward 5 Minneapolis city councilman Don Samuels letter to residents that says, with their (the residents of NoMi) anonymous, confidential help he is ready to take back their streets in the hopes of peace and safety.
This has led a group known as the NoMi terrorists to make false claims and idle threats against their Black neighbors and also their White neighbors who refuse to bow down to their methodology about making north Minneapolis an “Urban Utopia.”
It is fact that a search warrant authorizing the raid said the Minneapolis police did not investigate the residence on the 3200 block of Fremont Avenue N., because there was no drug-dealing operation nor did MPD find receipts, drugs, weapons and a man named “J Roc.” But again, another Black man gets the shit kicked out of him by Minneapolis Police.
Michael “Kip” Browne, Investigative Unit director of the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights who also is a part of the Jordan Area Community Council and continues to let his White counterparts maintain a sense of violent anger to people of color has not yet found his Black conciseness.
Browne and the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights has refused to address heinous beatings and killings of Black men by Minneapolis Police because we believe Browne and others have been given their “marching orders” from the racist DFL leadership who’s mantra could be, “We rather see a person of color shot and killed rather than give them a job in Minneapolis.”
While IBNN NEWS and its affiliates understand the duties of police officers are sometimes hazardous in dealing with people who sometimes don’t cooperate. Our wish is that all Minneapolis Police officers make it home everyday after their shifts to their loved ones and friends. After today’s report, there is a serious need for the MPD to reach out to residents in a cordial and diplomatic way to insure the “Don Samuels and NoMi racist terrorists” don’t embarrass the MPD anymore.
