Minneapolis, MN (Source: Fox 9 News/August 29, 2011)…Don’t ask rhetorical questions mayor. Benign neglect has been the order for years in the DFL political plantation as it pertains to the harsh economic violence in north Minneapolis. Public relations campaigns will not work anymore when children are dying.
The City of Minneapolis has funded those who don’t have a sound business acumen to form a process to address youth violence. Until mayor R.T. Rybak and his public policy and non-profit pundunts deal with the issues of economic violence, race relations and education – we can expect more of the same: The Futher Death of North Minneapolis.
My question to you and the Minneapolis City Council: “What have you done for us lately?”
