Come on Congressman Ellison. Your being just as thoughtless as CNN, MSNBC, FOX News (national) and host of other mainstream media outlets making a “docudrama” out of the Colorado shooting vying for viewers and ratings. I know it’s important for you to make up to President Obama after the 2008 gag order – but hell, don’t put your tongue in his mouth too. There are people in the 5th CD dying each week, what you going to do?

Minneapolis, MN (IBNN/5th CD/July 24, 2012)…It never ceases to amaze me at the trickery of the Democratic Party and it’s moving parts. First riding the voter ID train; then the gay marriage vote and now, Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison wants to introduce gun control laws in the wake of the Colorado shooting. I guess that’s what you get when you put celebrity status over political duties.
Can someone tap this guy on his shoulder and tell him those two babies and many more Black youth have been victims of shooting in his own back yard – within a 5-mile radius of the Minneapolis Urban League?
What are these Black elected officials on?
In a report from WCCO-TV, the congressman is calling for important changes to federal firearm laws in the wake of the movie theater massacre in Colorado. Democrat Keith Ellison says the U.S. should not just restrict assault weapons but it should also set limits on some gun clips, ammunition and body armor.
Ellison says, “Reasonable gun controls,” Ellison said. “It’s time.”
How about this? It’s time for you and the rest of the DFL Plantation to free the slaves that consistently vote for you while you do nothing to benefit them in Washington, DC. I understand Keith has some “romantic” issues blooming, but damn dude, there’s enough despair, dread and shootings in the 5th Congressional District.
I know it’s always important to step out and get in the news – but heck, Congressman Ellison is like the Black male version of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann if you really think about it.
