The Independent Business News Network was established in July of 2008. The goal of IBNN is to provide a different view of the local, national and global news and events that happen in the Black communities in the Twin Cities, as well as the United States. Our expectations are to provide a level of coverage and investigative reporting not seen or read in a long time. IBNN NEWS covers Politics, Education, Money, Business, and Community events. In most cases, the mainstream media doesn’t cover important news in the Black community. IBNN is here to tear open the tent!

The Independent Business News Network was established in July of 2008 – providing a level of coverage for the minority-ethnic community not seen in over 30 years. IBNN covers Politics, Education, Money, Business, Community, News and Information.

Our partners include, “The Minneapolis Story,” authored by Ronald A. Edwards who is also the host of Minneapolis Television Networks “Black Focus,” which airs every Sunday at 5 p.m. on channel 17 (MTN-Minneapolis).

IBNN also has a YouTube channel to provide visual outreach for our stories and information. (Added 5/5/10)
