Is radio station KMOJ-FM promoting DFL politics on the air?

Is radio station KMOJ-FM promoting DFL politics on the air?

The simple answer is yes. In a meeting over the weekend with the “Minnesota Institute of Research and Disparities of Black Minnesotans” it was very difficult for the group to pinpoint the CCD/KMOJ-FM board of directors. But now, after several months of covert operations, we come to find out, KMOJ-FM does not really have an external group of [...]

When women get shot: What happen to the focus on poverty and unhealthy diets?

When women get shot: What happen to the focus on poverty and unhealthy diets?

Some children in north Minneapolis have Honey Bun as a meal. (photo: Fair use) While local Minneapolis city officials and community idiots talk about gangs, guns and getting paid, no one is paying attention to the systemic reasons on why women are being gunned down at point-blank in north Minneapolis. A focus on reducing poverty and corrective [...]

Mayor May I: With No Opportunities Death and Violence becomes embedded in Minneapolis

Former Minneapolis mayoral candidate (2013) Ms. Jackie Cherryhomes. (photo: Fair Use, Public Domain). The jig is up. Organizations and people whispering in the mayor’s ear have not delivered on anything pertaining to the violence, or stopping the violence in the African American community. Mayor Hodges only has a short window of opportunity [...]

50 Years of Mischief: The Triumph and Trashing of the Civil Rights Act

By Jonathan Bean, originally posted on The Independent Institute  July 2 marks the 50th anniversary of the most famous Civil Rights Act in U.S history. Passed after the longest debate in congressional history, the Civil Rights Act (CRA) promised to secure justice for all regardless of race, color, creed, sex, or national origin. As I wrote in [...]

Twin Cities: The Black community and it’s roller-coaster ride to the bottom | The Ron and Don Show on #BlogTalkRadio

With civil rights and first amendment abuses inside of the Minneapolis NAACP, it seems our dear governor still misses the point about the broad voice of the black community. Tune in Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. (CST) to the Ron and Don Show for a detailed examination on what’s really going on. To listen, click here. By Don Allen, Founder [...]

None of those things can take place without the complicity of the people who run the schools and the city."  ~Toni Morrison   Steve Martin, 37, with son Savion, 3. He has nine children. The city of Minneapolis is complicit in his death Mayor Hodges. (photo: Star Tribune - [...]

Minneapolis NAACP shutdown, and out of business

Minneapolis NAACP shutdown, and out of business

Funeral services will be announced for the Minneapolis NAACP. "We shall overcome, but not with the assistance of the Minneapolis NAACP." I thought we had a good thing in Minneapolis. A preacher; a solider; a journalist; some black women with the ability to push any agenda forward. Unfortunately, “the hustle” was still on the table. For [...]

Why we (Black Minneapolis) must support Don Samuels for Minneapolis Public School Board

Why we (Black Minneapolis) must support Don Samuels for Minneapolis Public School Board

If we say power to the people, than Don Samuels must be included as one of the “People.” Supporting a black man or woman in Minnesota has never become more important then it is now. Vote Don Samuels for Minneapolis School Board in November. This is the first step in bringing a united Black Nationalist front back to us. The Jamaican Don's: [...]

Who speaks for the African American community?

Who speaks for the African American community?

I am forced to ask the question because there seems to be no cognitive collaborations within the black community. The current “old guard” does not work in any realms of common sense. I really do not see one black leader, locally or nationally who I would want my children to be like; what about you? I can have a productive conversation with [...]
