Republican Party of Minnesota offers up a Sacrificial Lamb for Congress
“We can be victims of other peoples games or masters of our own destiny.” ~Pimps and Hoes
by Donald W.R. Allen, II – IBNN NEWS and USA Radical Black – The MN 5th CD Political Funny’s
With less than a month left until the November elections, the MN GOP and 5th Congressional Republicans must tell GOP endorsed congressional candidate Joel Demos to send his supports to another candidate – he’s not going to win.
In politics, a sacrificial lamb candidate is a candidate chosen to contest an election despite the fact that he or she has little chance of victory. The political party thus appoints the person as a sort of “sacrifice” to the stronger opponent. For Demos and the Republicans it’s like, “Here, raise some money, place some lawn signs out and make it look like your running. The real truth is, we don’t like Blacks or other minority-ethnics (except for Carlton Crawford), and we will absolutely not go into their community – hell, we don’t have nothing for them anyway.”
In some cases fielding a sacrificial lamb candidate can serve as an opportunity for the party to be more creative in choosing a candidate than would normally be considered acceptable in a race. For instance Joel Demos’ already failed attempt in 2010 to campaign against DFL incumbent Keith Ellison shows that the 5th Congressional District Republicans like to “go through the motions” of an election cycle without a clear and defined plan of action or outreach. Community Forum on Juvenile Justice in Hennepin County
On Thursday, October 7, 2010 at North Commons Park located at 1801 James Avenue North in Minneapolis the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Alternative Initiative (JDAI) will hold a community forum to address Juvenile Justice concerns in Hennepin County.
A public service announcement from IBNN NEWS
Minneapolis, MN (IBNN NEWS/October 6, 2010)…Many cities and counties across the country face a crowding crisis in secure detention facilities, a result of inappropriate and unnecessary confinement of youth. In the decade before JDAI was launched,
detention populations increased by more than 70 percent, even though there was no corresponding increase in juvenile crime. By the beginning of the 1990’s, two out of every three youth admitted to secure detention was entering a place that was crowded, that could not provide the kinds of custody and care that case law and professional standards require. Less than a third of youth in detention were charged with violent crimes. Indeed, as many youth were in detention for violating rules (e.g. technical probation violations) as were there for serious crimes. And, by 1995, almost two-thirds of detained youth were youth of color, a percentage that was disproportionate to both their percentage in the general population and their percentage of youth arrested.
On Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. join the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI) for a Community Forum on communication and collaboration about Juvenile Justice in Hennepin County.
JDAI coordinator Jerald A. Moore will cover the following topics: Read the rest of this entry »

Edwards and Don Allen provide you with front-row seats, offering a comprehensive window into the ideas and policy initiatives proposed by three of the five candidates running for Congress in Minnesota’s 5th congressional district.
Minneapolis, MN. (IBNN NEWS/ON POINT/Black Focus-October 5, 2010)…With a possible 80,000 viewers tuning in tonight to watch the Minnesota 5th Congressional District Debate, you would think that the GOP-endorsed congressional candidate would show up. But if he doesn’t, that’s okay with us.
Tonight on Minneapolis Television Network, an unprecedented event will take place. We will have appearances by three of the candidates running for congress in the 5th CD, each of them independent of affiliation with the major parties.
Incumbent Congressman Keith Ellison has unfortunately declined our invitation, citing an important vote in Congress. GOP-endorsed candidate Joel Demos is putting out lawn signs with his campaign manager, and therefore has neither accepted nor declined our request.
Our confirmed participants are Lynne Torgerson (Stateswomen); Michael Cavlan (Independent Progressive) and Thomas Schrunk (Independence Party).
This LIVE broadcast will take place on three platforms: Minneapolis Television Network, Channel 17 (Minneapolis only); BlogTalkRadio’s ON POINT! (Click here for live simulcast)– and a LIVE streaming broadcast from the web on Minneapolis Television Network – LIVE streaming website (Click here for live simulcast) or copy and paste http://livestream.com/mtnstudios on your Internet browser.

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, “Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.” The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.
She rolled her eyes and said, “You must be an Obama Democrat.”
“I am,” replied the man. “How did you know?” “Well,” answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.” The man smiled and responded, “You must be a Republican.” “I am,” replied the balloonist. “How did you know?” “Well,” said the man, “you don’t know where you are — or where you are going. You’ve risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it’s my fault.”

“Today’s YMCA is not your fathers YMCA. The mission is a little different, funding in an economic downturn is an uphill battle. The YMCA has been at the forefront of information distribution, but on September 9, 2010 on the sixth floor of the organization the unthinkable happened – the death of a Black man by Minneapolis Police. Information from the organization has been shut off.”
by Donald W.R. Allen, II – IBNN NEWS and USA Radical Black

The video below will show John Hoff and Megan Goodmunson running away from the secretly video taped and recorded meeting. John was extremely angry when he arrived and might have been under the influence of alcohol. (Note the beer bottle in his hand as IBNN caught him coming out of the bar. He was the only one that was drinking who needed to sober up.)

Minneapolis, MN. (IBNN NEWS/October 3, 2010)…On July 27, 2010, IBNN NEWS editor in chief Don Allen was called to meet at Java J’s coffee shop in the historic warehouse district in downtown Minneapolis. John Willard Hoff – aka: Johnny Northside called this meeting with gal pal Megan Goodmunson, aka: The Nomi Passenger and Area Hawkman to deliver a message to IBNN NEWS.
According to Megan and Johnny, this meeting was to “deliver” me (Don Allen) a verbal message from Senator Linda Higgins DFL District 58 and Ward 5 Minneapolis City Councilman Don “Burn North High School Down” Samuels.
The message? To unplug IBNN NEWS, The Jordan Hawkman Group, USA Radical Black, Minneapolis Mirror and BAD MPLS blog-sites. I have control over only two of the mentioned blogs and will never stop posting violations of ethics, civil rights and a community process that has failed the masses but in favor of a few political and corrupt fat cats.
Also, Goodmunson told me that a racist hate letter was delivered to Senator Higgins and that I (Don Allen-IBNN NEWS), wrote the letter and my fingerprints were found on both the letter and envelope. After a call to the FBI, IBNN NEWS finds out that Goodmunson and Hoff are both liars. Read the rest of this entry »

“How can a Minneapolis Police officer get away with shooting an unarmed teen eight (8) times – five (5) times in the chest? IBNN NEWS is requesting to see the unedited video from the schools video surveillance cameras. Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak and Minneapolis Police chief Tim Dolan have a lot of explaining to do.”
Minneapolis, MN. (IBNN NEWS/October 2, 2010)…Hundreds gathered for the press conference and rally for Fong Lee who was murdered by Minneapolis Police officer Jason Anderson who on July 22, 2006, when Hmong teenager Fong Lee was with a group of friends riding bikes near the North Minneapolis’ Cityview Elementary School when Minneapolis police officers chased them across the playground.
Officer Jason Andersen shot Fong Lee eight times, in the back, side, and then five more shots into Lee’s chest as he lay on the ground. Andersen stated he was justified in the killing, claiming that Lee pointed a gun at him. He was cleared by the MPD’s internal investigation even though neighborhood eyewitnesses were not interviewed, many of who contradicted the police officers’ version of events in community press reports.
In 2009 the family of Fong Lee brought a wrongful death lawsuit again the City of Minneapolis and Jason Andersen, citing surveillance cameras that showed Fong Lee did not have a gun and evidence that demonstrated that the gun found at the scene had been in police custody, suggesting that the gun had been planted. When an all-white jury found that Andersen had not used “excessive force” in killing 19-year old Fong Lee, community members held numerous rallies to continue to demand justice in what they saw as a police cover-up.
The family has since appealed to the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals for a new trial, which has been denied. Now, under the representation of Hilliard, Muñoz, and Gonzales, the family of Fong Lee is taking their case to the Supreme Court, in hopes that national attention will result in a new trial of this egregious police action.
Jason Andersen was first in the media’s eye with his shooting death of Fong Lee but he has remained a contentious member of the Minneapolis police force. In September 2009 Police Chief Tim Dolan fired Andersen for violating the department’s ethics policy because of a dropped domestic assault charge. A state arbitrator returned Andersen to the force after the police union grieved the firing. Andersen is currently being indicted on federal charges for allegedly abusing a black teenager while part of the notorious and now-defunct Metro Gang Strike Force. On September 22, 2010 he was fired for a second time for violating the department’s code on “truthfulness” about this incident in which he allegedly kicked the teen in the head.

by SodaHead – “Opinions…Everybody’s got one.”
Source: SodaHead…The evidence seems pretty compelling. After a pretty good 400-year run that included setting up a modern democracy and owning the White House for more than two centuries, white people finally snapped.
According to the Village Voice, that break with reality happened on or about noon on January 20, 2009 when President Obama took the oath of office. At that point, according to the VV, we should have just called in the men with the white coats.
First there were the seemingly silly, but strangely persistent doubts about President Obama’s citizenship, which continue to this day, when nearly 25 percent of Americans believe that he’s a Muslim and 42 percent don’t believe his “claims” that he’s Christian.
It gets better, because 14 percent of Americans are ready to go a step further and say that Obama’s the anti-Christ.
Has White America Lost its Mind?
In trying to figure out how this white brain drain happened, the VV speculated that it’s a combination of baby boomers facing financial hardship for the first time in their lives and the fear that “white boy is becoming outnumbered and it’s got his bowels chilled with fear.” With 40 percent of the nation’s under-18 population non-white, older whites – who used to dominate everything from business and politics to education and the arts — are starting to fear that they will be replaced by young black and Hispanic workers in a down economy.
Like that old guy down the street who is always yelling inappropriate things at the neighborhood picnic, as the boomers age, they also get more politically active, and vocal about their gripes with the younger, less white, generation.
Some of the examples given by the VV of white America’s descent into madness: the “sting” operation on the now-defunct community organizer ACORN, secretly funded by the same organization that brought you Karl Rove, the infamous Breitbart takedown of former USDA employee Shirley Sherrod thanks to a carefully edited “racist” video leak, the passage of Arizona’s Read the rest of this entry »
